The iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max Comparisons

If you're like me and you've got an unhealthy obsession for Apple products, then you would have probably gone gaga over the release of the iPhone 11 and it's successors the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max.

To be honest, I was quite wary of the designs that they've put out. The three rear cameras on the Pro and Pro Max looked like an alien ship, not going to lie. It doesn't seem appealing at first, but I guess you can get used to it?

Let's talk about specs!

The phones feature a new and powerful A13 Bionic processor. For those of you who can't understand what exactly that means and how it's good, let me tell you. The A13 Bionic Processor is what makes these iPhones operate really fast. It's a six-core CPU, with two high-performance cores running at 2.65 GHz called Lightning and four energy-efficient cores called Thunder. I find that amusing. The Lightning cores feature machine learning accelerators.

The phones also have multiple rear cameras (the alien ship), and offer various tools for taking photos, and also have the most awaited Night mode feature. The new iPhones all have a 12-megapixel front-facing camera which is better as compared to last year's models which had a 7-megapixel lens. I know I can count on better selfies!

What about pricing? The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max start at $699, $999 and $1,099, respectively.

Let's talk about Specs for each one in detail.

The iPhone 11

Available in multiple finishes, the iPhone 11 is available in three capacities: 64GB, 128 GB, 256 GB. It is splash, water and dust resistant with a maximum depth of 2 meters up to 30 minutes. (I wouldn't swim with this in the ocean if you thought about diving in with an iPhone)

It has FaceID, Siri 8, better audio and video playback, videos are taken in 4K, 1080p HD at 30fps and 60 fps and 720p HD at 30fps.

It has Dual 12MP Ultra Wide and Wide cameras, Portrait Lighting with six effects (Natural, Studio, Contour, Stage, Stage Mono, High-Key Mono), Optical image stabilization, Night mode, Auto Adjustments, Next-generation Smart HDR for photos, Wide color capture for photos and Live Photos, Advanced red‑eye correction, Auto image stabilization, Burst mode, and Photo geotagging.

Battery life is said to last longer by 1 hour extra than the iPhone XR. Power of iPhone 11 for Video playback: Up to 17 hours Video playback (streamed): Up to 10 hours and Audio playback: Up to 65 hours

The iPhone 11 Pro

Now iPhone 11 Pro has three rear cameras whereas iPhone 11 has just two. It is actually slightly smaller than iPhone 11 and comes in different finishes than the ones available for the iPhone 11.

The iPhone 11 has a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina HD LCD display, while the iPhone 11 Pro has a sharper Super Retina XDR OLED display. This is also true for the iPhone Pro Max. The OLED on the iPhone 11 Pro is brighter in sunlight, can display true colors and more detail in bright areas, and is able to support HDR movies on iTunes. It also supports multiple optical zoom in and out.

The iPhone 11 Pro has up to four hours longer battery life than the iPhone XS when compared, rated for up to 18 hours of offline video playback, up to 11 hours of streaming video over Wi-Fi, and up to 65 hours of audio playback per charge.

This model is splash, water and dust resistant and holds up to 4 meters in depth for 30 minutes .

The iPhone 11 Pro Max

Finally coming to the iPhone Pro Max which I call the mothership of the iPhones. It has similar features to iPhone 11 Pro, the only differences being that it's bigger, heavier and has a ton more battery life.

Both models support True Tone display, Wide color display, and Haptic Touch among the sea of features offered.

So which one is your favorite and which one do you think is worth buying? Let me know in the comments!
